At Wordscapes, we prioritize your gaming experience and strive to ensure your progress is secure. This policy outlines the procedures and recommendations for saving and restoring your game progress.
Important Information
No Local Save: Wordscapes does not support local saves on your device.
Avoid Reinstallation: Reinstalling the game without syncing your progress may result in permanent loss of your game data.
How to Save Your Progress
To prevent any loss of progress, we strongly recommend syncing your game data through one of the following methods:
Android or IOS
Facebook: Link your Wordscapes account to Facebook.
IOS only
Apple Sign-In: Use Apple sign-in to sync your progress.
Android users, we recognize that not everyone has a Facebook account. However, you can create a Facebook account solely for the purpose of syncing your Wordscapes progress without sharing personal information. This account will also allow you to stay updated with the latest news and events shared in our Facebook community.
Transferring Progress Between Devices
If you wish to carry over your progress to a new device, ensure you have synced your game through Facebook or Apple sign-in. This is currently the only method to transfer your account between devices seamlessly.
Restoring Lost Accounts
In case of lost progress, our Customer Support team can assist in restoring your account to some extent:
Restorable Data: Levels and brilliance can be restored.
Verification Process: Restoring coins, hints, and wildlife collection requires data verification. This process may take some time, and we can’t guarantee that we will be able to find data.
If, upon account verification, the old account is found to be still active, we will not be able to restore the progress. This measure is to prevent cheating, as progress must be earned naturally. We cannot duplicate accounts.
