How does leveling up work?

If you hatch an egg and receive enough duplicates of an existing animal, the meter below the animal will begin to fill. The meter shows how many duplicates are needed to level up the animal. The animal will level up when the meter is filled.

What are the benefits of leveling up my animal?

Leveling up means you will receive additional rewards for completing activities. These rewards can include Heart Gems and special bonuses such as binoculars, stars, cocoons, brilliance, and bees.

Can my animal's appearance change when it levels up?

Yes, some levels may change your animal's coat. To change your animal’s coat, go to your Wildlife Collection (tap the paw icon on the bottom of the game’s home screen), then tap your animal. This will allow you to rotate through all your currently available coats.

How do I access my Wildlife collection?

Tap the paw icon on the bottom of your Wordscapes home screen. This will allow you to view all the animals in your Wildlife collection, as well as their bonuses. You can name your animals by tapping the pencil icon and entering a name. You can also view the bonus details for any animal by tapping on the rewards listed underneath the animal’s name.

How do I buy new eggs?

By tapping the egg icon, you can view which egg is currently available in the egg store and spend Heart Gems to purchase a new egg. (For more information on Eggs, view the Eggs and Discovering New Wildlife section of the FAQ.)
