What do Ambassadors do?
Ambassadors may:
Answer player questions in community spaces
Share gameplay tips, event explanations, or FAQs
Clarify how game mechanics, events, or changes work
Share approved updates from PeopleFun
Help explain (at a high level) why some fixes or changes take time
Identify recurring issues or confusion and escalate broader themes to PeopleFun
Help reduce misinformation by clearly separating what’s confirmed vs. what’s still being reviewed
Ambassadors are players first. Their role is to provide clarity, context, and connection — not control.
What don’t Ambassadors do?
Ambassadors are community liaisons. They do not:
Fix bugs or make changes to the game
Provide account-level support
Replace in-game Support
Access player accounts, devices, or personal data
Make product, policy, or release decisions
Share confidential or unreleased information
Confirm, deny, or promise future features, timelines, or development outcomes
Interpret or expand upon executive comments beyond what has been formally announced
For account-specific issues (lost coins, sync problems, missing purchases, etc.), in-game Support remains the appropriate and secure channel.
How is this different from in-game Support?
Ambassadors and Support work together, but they are different.
In-Game Support | Ambassadors |
Account-specific help | General questions & clarity |
Bug reports / individual tickets | Patterns & theme escalation |
Tickets & direct responses | Conversation & explanation |
Transactional | Relational |
Support resolves individual account problems. Ambassadors help keep the community informed and reduce confusion.
How should players use the Ambassador Program?
If you’re unsure about how something works or want more clarity, Ambassadors can help.
✅ Good reasons to ask an Ambassador:
“How does this event work?”
“What is the current known issue with ___?”
“Is this behavior expected or a bug?”
“Where can I find official info about ___?”
“Can someone explain the rules/scoring/FAQ for this mode?”
✅ Ambassadors can also help by:
collecting patterns (not just individual complaints)
escalating recurring or high-impact community issues
clarify what is officially known and publicly available
Ambassadors cannot confirm unannounced changes, validate rumors, guarantee fixes, or provide timelines unless that information has been formally released.
For personal account problems (lost coins, sync issues, missing purchases, etc.), please use in-game Support.
Why can’t Ambassadors expedite a fix?
Some issues take time to resolve because they require investigation, development, testing, and a safe rollout. The game team also has to prioritize work based on severity, player impact, and other work already in progress.
Ambassadors can help surface patterns and escalate concerns, but they don’t control, fix timelines, or make development decisions.
How long does an Ambassador serve?
Ambassadors typically serve for one year, unless another term has been agreed upon.
This helps:
prevent burnout
keep perspectives fresh
create opportunities for new voices in the program
Where are Ambassadors active?
Ambassadors primarily engage in:
The Wordscapes Community Facebook Page
The Wordscapes Community Facebook Group
The Wordscapes subreddit
The Wordscapes Community Instagram Page
You may also see Ambassador activity on other official Wordscapes social spaces.
Is this program only for Facebook players?
No — Ambassadors are encouraged to engage in ways that reach the broader player base, not only closed circles or specific platforms.
We know not all players use Facebook, and we aim to make key information accessible across multiple spaces.
