The Wordscapes Ambassador Program is a community program made up of volunteer players who help strengthen communication between the Wordscapes player community and PeopleFun.
Ambassadors help make information clearer, reduce confusion, and bring player feedback and community sentiment back to the PeopleFun team.
Ambassadors coordinate and share updates through the official Wordscapes community spaces below:
Why does this program exist?
Wordscapes has a large and passionate community, and we know that information can sometimes feel unclear or slow — especially during bugs, updates, or major changes.
The Ambassador Program exists to help:
Improve communication between players and PeopleFun
Reduce misinformation and confusion
Help surface recurring issues and community-wide trends to PeopleFun
Support a respectful, constructive community environment
Ensure player perspectives are heard and understood
How does PeopleFun use feedback from Ambassadors?
Ambassadors help identify recurring issues, common points of confusion, and overall community sentiment.
This feedback is summarized and shared with PeopleFun teams to help inform improvements, communication priorities, and how the community is supported.
Are Ambassadors PeopleFun employees?
No.
Ambassadors are not employees, contractors, or customer support agents. They are volunteer players who help improve communication and clarity in the community.
Do Ambassadors represent players or PeopleFun?
Ambassadors do not formally represent either players or PeopleFun. Their role is to serve as a bridge between the community and the company.
They listen to player concerns, share community perspectives with PeopleFun, and help communicate approved, public information back to the community with empathy and transparency.
Ambassadors are not official company spokespeople and cannot speak on behalf of PeopleFun. They may only reference information that has already been publicly shared. They cannot confirm, deny, interpret, or expand upon executive comments, internal discussions, confidential matters, or unannounced plans. When appropriate, they will direct players to official announcements for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Ambassadors are also not responsible for defending the company. Their purpose is to encourage constructive dialogue, help reduce misunderstandings, and support clear communication — especially during challenging or frustrating moments.
How often should we hear from Ambassadors?
You should see regular Ambassador activity across the community, including helpful posts and comment-level engagement.
Not every Ambassador will post every week (they’re volunteers), but the program is designed to provide consistent visibility and coverage across community spaces.
What if an Ambassador seems inactive or unhelpful?
Ambassadors are volunteers, and availability can change.
Ambassadors may rotate out if participation or alignment changes
Rotation is normal and not disciplinary
You can share feedback through official Wordscapes channels.
Why can’t Ambassadors always share everything they know?
At times, Ambassadors may be aware of information that has not yet been made public. They may also see comments from PeopleFun team members that reflect early ideas or ongoing discussions rather than finalized decisions.
In those situations, Ambassadors will:
Share only information that has been formally announced or approved for public release
Avoid confirming, denying, or interpreting ideas that are still under discussion
Avoid presenting exploratory conversations as promises or commitments
Be transparent when information is not finalized or not available
Avoid teasing, hinting at, or speculating about unreleased features, fixes, or timelines
Not every public comment from a PeopleFun employee represents a finalized plan, timeline, or guarantee. Unless something is part of an official announcement, Ambassadors will not expand on it.
These boundaries help prevent misinformation, false expectations, and confusion within the community.
Why should players trust this program?
Because the Ambassador Program is designed to be:
Player-driven
Transparent and rotating
Regularly reviewed
Focused on clarity, empathy, and communication
The goal is simple: a stronger, more informed Wordscapes community.
