Every time you beat a level, you are given few free coins which are placed in your Piggy Bank. At any point, you can play a flat fee to break the bank and claim those coins. At some point, the bank will fill up, and new coins will no longer get added to it.

Note that a full Piggy Bank is the best deal in the game for getting coins!
